South Davis is comprised of a
multiplicity of separate and distinct areas. Some of these
areas, like Woodbridge and Oakshade East incorporate neo-traditional
planning elements, while others are laid-out according to modern
planning principals. Willowbank is a unique, older area of
Davis, characterized by some of the largest and oldest trees in Davis,
and some of the largest lots in town. The Montgomery Elementary
School sits in the center of South Davis, as does a full scale
neighborhood mall. South Davis also hosts Play Fields Park, an
increasingly popular community recreational facility.
