The El Macero area is defined by
three distinct neighborhoods. The first is El Macero Country
Club Estates, or simply "El Macero." El Macero, which
is not technically part of the City of Davis, features hundreds of
large custom homes on large lots, most of which back-up to the
sprawling El Macero golf course. The second is Macero Del Norte,
or the El Macero Annex, which centers around the large Pioneer Park
and Pioneer Elementary school. The third area of interest is
El Macero Estates, a relatively new development featuring modern,
mostly larger.
