Central Davis, as normally defined,
encompasses a very large area, and hosts thousands of homes, no less
than six schools, City Hall, and the expansive Community Park, among
other things. On its Southern border, Central Davis abuts the
UCD campus. The three areas of note in Central Davis for people
interested in Davis real estate include the historic College Park
neighborhood, the Core Area, which is oldest part of Davis and the the
community's commercial center, and Central Davis proper, which includes countless homes
generally arranged in a feeder street and cul-de-sac planning style.
